Based on archival resaerch and iterative prototyping: a place-based installation designed to cultivate play, curiosity, community learning, and most importantly tell the overlooked story of Vancouver’s Main St. area prior to colonialsm.
Sit on the cushions filled with both water and sponge, designed to imitate peat and swamp; notice the tilt in the ground left by a bog built over. Underneath their layer, discover a hidden story.
