My textile work is centred around wearable design, with an emphasis on functional pieces that engage with contemporary trends, while remaining timeless and durable. I often begin with card models to study construction and refine pattern development in three dimensions. From there, I draft initial patterns in Illustrator to ensure precision and consistency, with hopes to carry these files through to laser-cut production. I iterate through user testing and prototyping, working with Tech packs and technical flats to digest my design for manufacturing.
